Cheryl’s, so easy to ride and willing to learn, five year
old, “Shane”, is showing us what his pedigree told us he
could do, anything that is asked of him. Light On Money has
a nice slope to his shoulder, great top line and hip that
allows him to show off his agility. Cheryl is expecting great things from him by his futurity
year. Rose Hildebrandt, Valentine, NE, has been
running Shane while Cheryl is recuperating.
His dam, Deer Apache,
was the SW Nebraska Team Penning Champion Mare, leased by
the McClymont Team ridden by Carlos Rivera. She was
the 1998 Nebraska 4D Finals Champion while running the exact
same time each day and her colt was only weaned 12 days
prior. "Apache" was also the D. Louthan
Memorial Pole Bending Champion. "Shane" is a maternal
half brother to Dances With Honor and
Twist Kokomos
Jet.
