Offering for
sale our nine-year-old bay gelding. "Duke"
stands 15.1 hands and weighs about 1100 lbs. He
has been on the back burner for barrels the last
couple of years as he has a different running
style than the others I am currently working so
we just don’t click and I don’t do him justice.
We currently use him to pony our runners every
other day and other odd jobs as needed so would
need some tuning and riding before competing on
him in barrels. "Duke" is gentle to be around
and ride, but like most horses he does have some
likes and dislikes. He is easy to catch in the
pasture or corral and a very easy keeper. He has
the disposition to go in different disciplines.
Stands good at the trailer either alone or with
other horses, stands well for the shoer,
worming, shots, clipping and baths. Price is
resonable for quick sale as we have more to
