Hill Cash For Ceasar, a.k.a.
"Bud", is a finished barrel horse whose sire, Cash In Your
Bux, was nationally recognized as one of the top barrel
horse sires in 1999.
Bud has a pretty laid back personality, a push style horse and
will normally will run 1D/2D locally and 2D at the bigger
runs. He’s
VERY well mannered, even
tempered and a
very easy keeper. Does well with other horses that are in the same
pen, not a trouble maker.
You can clip, trim and give
him shots without a halter, requires minimum
maintenance, hauls well and stands for farrier.
No gate issues but does get on the muscle when you point him
towards the barrels - he knows his job. Runs in a Jim
Warner hack and responds to leg pressure.
We also use
him
to pony and condition our young horses and a mount for our
non-horse visitors. We have loaned him out at barrel
races when someone's horse was injured and they needed a
mount and he has had limited rodeo experience. He is sound in bone and muscle and was
x-rayed by Dr. Brunk in November 2010. Dr. Brunk stated
at that time he
was normal for a horse his age.
Bottom line - he will give it his all
for the rider.
